General conditions of sale

 

Flowers are a seasonal product, which is why we do not always have the entire existing floral assortment.

A bouquet may be slightly different in composition from the one photographed, but it will come as close as possible, in shape and colour, to the photograph.

 

Value added tax  

The prices of the flowers indicated are 2.5% VAT included.

The prices of deliveries, accessories (wine, chocolate, plush etc.) and cards indicated are 7.7% VAT included.

 

Conditions of delivery  

General information

Your flower order will be immediately forwarded to our store. Delivery will be made on the desired day or as close as possible in case of force majeure.

 

The minimum order amount (including delivery) is CHF 50.

Exceptions

February 14th - Valentine's Day: 

Due to the large volume, orders for Valentine's Day can exceptionally be delivered as of February 13 from 14 hours.

Orders for Mother's Day are executed on Saturday before Mother's Day, unless payment of a flat-rate supplement of Chf 18.- at the normal delivery price for Sunday (the order must reach us before 12.00 on Sunday).

Sunday deliveries:

payment of a flat-rate supplement of Chf 18.- at the normal delivery price. Please note that the order must reach us before 12:00 on Saturday for next day delivery. After this period the delivery will be made on the following Monday or first working day following, even if you have paid a supplement. This flat-rate supplement is to be chosen in the online shop and added to your order, without this additional payment no delivery will be made on the Sunday chosen.

Holiday deliveries :

(January 1st, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Ascension, Pentecost, Jeûne Genevois, Christmas, December 31st).

Guaranteed hours for deliveries in Geneva

orders placed before 14h00 : delivery within the day

orders placed after 14h00 : delivery the next morning (except if it falls on a Sunday, in this case : delivery the following Monday morning)

 

Flower order delivery (& additional accessories)

In case of absence of the recipient, the deliveryman can give the bouquet of flowers to a third person (e.g. a neighbour) likely to give it to its recipient or leave it in front of the door of the recipient. We exclude any refund in case of theft of flowers. If you do not wish to use these two delivery methods, please let us know under "notes and special requests" and we will return the bouquet to our store. The recipient will then have to pick it up, no additional delivery will be made.

 

Accuracy of the delivery address

Please ensure in your own interest that the delivery address you have given us and the telephone numbers (fixed and mobile) are correct and complete. We accept no liability for any delays or non-deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. In order to enable us to execute your order within the agreed deadlines and without delay, we would appreciate some additional information:

 

Indication, in case of deliveries to hospitals, of the service and room number. For deliveries to hotels, indication, if possible, of the room number and the name under which the recipient has registered (group, couple, etc.). At the private home, number of the entry code into the building, of all names likely to appear on the letterbox or the entrance door and the mobile number of the recipient. Find out if the person is absent, goes on weekends or holidays on the delivery date.

Order Confirmation

The information provided by the customer during the order engages his responsibility. 

In the event of an error in the wording of the recipient's contact details, the seller cannot be held liable.

Orders are only final when they have been confirmed by payment and acceptance of the credit card.

Any modification or cancellation of the order by the customer cannot be taken into consideration and the amount paid will not be refunded.

Product offers are valid while stocks last. A product that has become unavailable is automatically removed from the online product catalog.

In case of stock shortage, the seller reserves the right to deliver a product offering identical characteristics in size and quality.

Protection of young people with regard to the sale of alcohol

Swiss law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 16.

By placing your order, you confirm as a customer that the alcoholic beverage will not be used for illegal purposes and that you and the recipient are at least 16 years of age.

 Litige 

Complaints or disputes will always be received with benevolence, good faith being always presumed in the one who takes the trouble to expose his grievances.

Deliveries in Switzerland and abroad

Thanks to its exceptional distribution network, Fleurop can execute orders worldwide and in nearly 150 countries within a few hours. However, local conditions and a possible time difference must be taken into account.

While deliveries are guaranteed in all locations in Switzerland, some locations abroad are not served, or only against payment of additional delivery charges. If the destination of your order should concern one of these localities, our customer service will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail or telephone.
