In 1963 Emilia and Umberto SIMEONI took over the Pellet business. It is not strictly speaking a shop but a small surface without roof, shelter or heating, rented to the city of Geneva.

It was the side entrance to the main entrance where our stores are currently located. It no longer exists.

Umberto passes his horticulturist diploma by doing evening classes and with the help of Emilia to have it revised after the meal. The days are long and hard but with hard work and perseverance, the results come and allow the small business to develop quietly.

In 1978 creation of the flower shop "Laure-Fleurs" in the centre of the village of Le Petit-Lancy with Laura, the daughter, a qualified florist with a federal patent who took over the business under her name in 1982 until today and who is still active.

In 1982, a proposal from a close competitor allowed the company to take over a second store and establishment.

Marino, the son, joins his parents to assist them while continuing to pass the diplomas of horticulturist and florist. He was elected best apprentice of Geneva in 1980 with the prize of the Council of State.

In 1985, computer technology arrived in our offices...

In 1991 Marino is assisted by Florence (his future wife) who is in charge of the new graphics and logos of Simeoni-Fleurs and the decoration and setting up of the store.

In 2000 successful affiliation to the Fleurop-Interflora network. Our store was the first Fleurop store in Switzerland (out of 350) in 2014 and 2015 as the member with the highest number of orders.

In 2001 he obtained the certification by the F.A.C of the diploma "the specialist".

In July 2014 we moved to a temporary store at 12 chemin Daniel-Ihly (50m) after the sale of our plot. Currently the future building is under construction and we will take back our premises in the second quarter 2017...
